Frequently Asked Questions:

What is the Express School Challenge?

Express School Challenge rewards UK schools for getting 100+ pupils (or three full year groups) creating with Adobe Express for Education across three separate challenge rounds.

Complete all three, submit your evidence, and your school will receive swag and a pizza party!

What counts as a “challenge round”?

One round = 100+ students (or three full year groups) signing into their own Adobe Express for Education accounts and completing an Adobe Express activity.

Options include:

I have a free Adobe Express account. Can I take part?

You must use your free premium Adobe Express for Education student and educator accounts.

  • đź’™ Scotland: via Glow
  • ❤️ Wales: via Hwb
  • đź’š Northern Ireland: via C2k
  • 🤍 England: via Class Link or your SSO if you have been deployed. If not, head here.
I'm in a small school. Can I take part?

Yes! If you are a smaller school, you can still enter! Just get every pupil in three year groups to participate.

Does every pupil have to complete the same activity for the challenge round?

No (although you can if you want)! Activities can vary across classes.

You could have Year 4 following a Live Lesson, Year 5 completing a Guided Activity and Year 6 designing their own presentations for one successful challenge round.

What do I submit as evidence?

Photos (no faces) or screenshots of Project thumbnails - just enough to show the number of pupils matches your entry form. See an example here.

How do I create a Project?

Creating a shared Project (either for each class or for all of your participants) is a great way to collate your creative evidence. You could even have a Folder inside the Project for each challenge round.

  1. From the homepage, select Your stuff
  2. Select the Projects tab
  3. Choose New project
  4. Name the project and choose a colour
  5. Paste in your pupils' emails/logins
  6. Invite with 'can edit' access
  7. Create Folders for each challenge round
  8. Pupils can move/copy files into the Project Folders (or they can start creating directly inside the Project Folder)
  9. Screenshot the Project thumbnails as evidence:
Can I choose when the pizza party happens?

Yes! In the submission form we ask you to choose a date and tell us which pizza company is open in your area on that date. We will place the order for you.

Can you accommodate allergy or dietary requirements?

This depends on the pizza company. Check with them and then let us know what we need to order for any pupils with allergies or dietary requirements.

What’s the deadline?

You must submit your evidence by 30th November 2025, 23:59 GMT, the end of the US financial year, to get your prizes!

And yes! That does mean Express School Challenge will be here for Back to School!

How do I enter?

Complete the submission form to enter.

Can students help lead this?

Yes! Use your Digital Leaders or older pupils to assist you in organising and promoting the challenge, support their peers, and gather photographs or screenshots of evidence.
